Las
Olas
Riverfront
With
beautiful Fort Lauderdale Beach on one end and the
exciting Arts and Science District on the other,
Las Olas Boulevard ranks as one of the world's
great thoroughfares. With the New River flowing
alongside, this popular part of town becomes an
even more appealing destination for dining, shopping,
and fun.
The
area's newest hotspot is Las Olas Riverfront, an
upscale entertainment mecca that includes a
multi-screen movie theatre, restaurants, shops, a
virtual reality arcade, and a courtyard that's
always abuzz with music and pushcart vendors.
Accessible by Water Taxi and Trolley and with
ample nearby parking, Las Olas Riverfront makes a
great starting point for all that the neighborhood
has to offer.
Arts
and culture abound along the avenue. The Broward
Center for the Performing Arts anchors the west
end along with the Museum of Discovery and Science
and BLOCKBUSTER® IMAX® 3D Theater. Head east
along the Riverwalk and you'll encounter the
Museum of Art and the historic Stranahan House.
The legendary Bonnet House lies just a short drive
or boat ride to the north.
Speaking
of water, your nautical sightseeing options also
include passage with the Jungle Queen, Carrie B
Harbor Tours, and Riverfront Cruises.
As
you work up an appetite, consider dining at
Shirttail Charlie's just across the New River, or
at the Riverside Hotel, Le Cafe de Paris, the
French Quarter, Cafe La bonne Crepe, or the other
fine establishments on the Boulevard. Find
something for that special someone at the
Galleries of Seldom Seen, UnderWraps Intimate
Apparel, and many more enticing boutiques and
shops.
It's
a world-class street in one of the globe's Great
Locations. Welcome to Las Olas!
