Morito Suzuki is a graphic artist who was born in Shizuoka, Japan. After graduating from college, Morito was employed as a local graphic designer. He is a self-taught artist but states the most important experience for him "as an artist" was an encounter with musician Michael Sembello. Morito learned graphic design as an art form for the entertainment industry while working with Sembello on his album covers. In Suzuki's words, "Michael Sembello inspired me more than any great painters or designers." |
